Graviteam Tactics: Volokonovka 1942
Volokonovka 1942 is an exciting addon for Graviteam Tactics: Operation Star, introducing a captivating summer operational area set in the village of Volokonovka. This expansion focuses on the intense confrontations between the Red Army and the Wehrmacht during the critical phase of Operation Blau in July 1942.
As the German 6th Army breaches the Red Army's defenses, they push further towards the strategic crossings of the Oskol River. Players take on the role of the Wehrmacht, tasked with supporting the assaulting 79th Infantry Division as they advance eastward to capture Volokonovka. Meanwhile, the Red Army must delay this enemy advance until their reinforcements from the 114th Tank Brigade can arrive, while fiercely defending the crucial bridgeheads on the left bank of the Oskol River.
With new operations added, Volokonovka 1942 heightens the tactical complexity and strategic immersion, inviting players to experience the challenging decisions faced by both sides during this pivotal moment in World War II.
