Rakuen: A Heartfelt Adventure

In Rakuen, an Indie RPG by Laura Shigihara, players navigate the touching journey of a young boy living in a hospital. His greatest desire is to enter the enchanting world of his favorite storybook and seek the Guardian of the Forest to fulfill a special wish. To achieve this dream, the boy, accompanied by his mother, embarks on an adventure through a fantasy realm filled with whimsical dungeons and intriguing characters.

Throughout his journey, the boy interacts with the fantastical alter-egos of his fellow hospital patients, each with their own poignant stories and challenges. From a lonely old man guarding a music box to a woman in a coma and a grieving young girl, players will help these characters resolve their unfinished business. Each interaction is rich in narrative, revealing secrets tied to their lives and the hospital.

Rakuen offers a unique non-combat experience, combining dialogue-driven mysteries, room escape puzzles, and heartwarming quests.
