CONSORTIUM is the opening chapter of the iDGi-1 Trilogy, an interactive narrative that blends mystery, diplomacy, and sci‑fi intrigue. The story begins in the real world, where a satellite known as iDGi-1 opens a digital rift through time and space. Anyone with an internet connection can step through and awaken inside an alternate dimension—the game world—in the year 2042.
The action unfolds entirely aboard the C-3800-D ZENLIL Consortium Command vessel on December 21, 2042. It plays like a self-contained bottle episode of Star Trek: you are part of the cast and the narrative respect your choices above all else. The experience offers complete freedom and agency, with a fully resolvable arc set within a single onboard mystery.
Built on a modified version of the SOURCE engine, ZENLIL is a living, highly interactive environment. Expect turbulence and non‑scripted decompression moments as you explore, scan, and interact with a crew of over 20 characters. More than 4,000 lines of fully voiced dialogue respond to your every action, while you can choose to engage the conversations or observe from the margins and never utter a word.
The game features an original orchestral score by award‑winning composer Jeremy Soule, intensifying the mood as the murder unfolds and loyalties shift. You take on the role of detective against a backdrop of factional tensions, mercenaries, and hidden agendas—where every choice can tilt the balance toward peace or violence.
CONSORTIUM invites you to manage an energy‑based inventory filled with distinctive sci‑fi weapons, gadgets, and armor. Your actions drive the story: you may pursue diplomacy, build alliances, or resort to force. Your path shapes how the crew perceives you, how the investigation progresses, and what consequences follow in subsequent playthroughs.
With more than 150,000 words of lore, backstory, and context, everything you read, see, speak, or hear is connected to the central mystery.
