Talisman - The Reaper Expansion description

Talisman - The Reaper Expansion: Will You Look Death in the Eye?

An unearthly chill has spread across the land as Death himself wanders the realm, challenging heroes on their quests. This expansion introduces a new dynamic with the Grim Reaper, an NPC who stalks players as they strive for victory. The Reaper moves when a player rolls a 1 for their movement, and at the end of each turn, players roll to determine his movement. Encountering the Grim Reaper can be deadly—players must roll against him, risking their lives with each encounter.

Players can choose from four new characters, each bringing unique abilities to the game. The Dark Cultist uses psychic combat and gains gifts from dark forces. The Knight is a noble hero equipped to combat evil, while the Merchant excels in trading and evading confrontation. Lastly, the Sage leverages wisdom to stay ahead of the Grim Reaper, gaining spells and intelligent movement options.

This expansion also adds 90 Adventure Cards, 26 Spell Cards, and 12 Warlock Quest Cards, creating new strategies and endless adventures. With a new alternative ending and the ever-present threat of the Grim Reaper, the race to the Crown of Command has never been deadlier!
