TowerFall Ascension is the ultimate incarnation of the beloved archery combat game, drawing inspiration from the golden era of couch multiplayer. This 4-player local party game focuses on frenetic and humorous versus matches, where the straightforward mechanics are easy to grasp but challenging to master. Engage in intense battles as you loot treasure chests for powerful upgrades, perfect the technique of catching arrows mid-flight, and use aerial stomps to outmaneuver your friends.

A standout feature in Ascension is the introduction of a 1- or 2-player co-op Quest mode, allowing players to collaborate against a variety of foes in the expansive land of TowerFall. This new mode offers an exciting alternative for those moments when not enough friends are around to compete. The game boasts 50 additional Versus arenas, bringing the total to 120 unique maps, along with new game-changing power-ups such as Drill Arrows, which pierce through walls.
