Distance description

Distance is a unique survival racing game that blends the thrills of arcade racing with atmospheric exploration. Set in a mysterious, neon-lit city, players control a customizable car designed for high-speed maneuvers, including boosting, jumping, and flying. Unlike traditional racing games, Distance challenges you to navigate perilous roads filled with unpredictable obstacles as you race against the clock rather than against opponents. Experience the adrenaline of parkour-inspired racing as you drive on walls, upside down, and through the air, all while uncovering the city’s dark secrets. The game features a captivating single-player adventure and offers various multiplayer modes for up to 12 players online or 4 players in split-screen settings, including Sprint and Reverse Tag.With its innovative track generation system, you can explore an infinite array of challenging courses, while the powerful level editor allows you to create and share levels with a global community. Distance is a spiritual successor to the celebrated Nitronic Rush, crafted by a talented team at DigiPen Institute of Technology. Complete with a compelling original soundtrack, this game delivers an exhilarating and immersive experience that will keep you coming back for more.
