In a world ravaged by a deadly plague, your only hope lies in the depths of the Feldspar Mountains, where a legendary alien facility known as 'The Pit' is rumored to exist. Built by the ancient Suul'ka, this massive structure may hold the key to a cure, but every expedition has ended in failure, with no one ever returning.

Sword of the Stars: The Pit is a turn-based RPG that combines the thrill of old-school dungeon-crawling with the sci-fi elements of the Sword of the Stars universe. Players can choose from three main characters—Marine, Pilot, and Engineer—each with unique abilities. The game also includes five bonus characters and a secret hidden character, ensuring diverse gameplay.

Explore 30 levels filled with ancient evil science, facing dozens of enemies, alongside over 50 weapons and armors that feature special effects. With randomized augmentation effects, crafting options, and various room types, each playthrough is unique.
