The DB BR 145, part of Bombardier's TRAXX series, is now available in Train Simulator, offering an authentic experience of one of Germany's key electric locomotives. Derived from the prototype locomotive 128 001, the BR 145 was introduced after Deutsche Bahn AG ordered 80 units in 1997 for medium-weight freight operations. Initially designed for freight, this versatile locomotive later served in passenger roles, with a top speed of 140 km/h (87 mph).
This add-on features the BR 145 in the iconic Deutsche Bahn ‘Traffic Red’ livery, and is equipped with advanced in-cab signalling systems, including PZB, AFB, and SIFA, ensuring an immersive driving experience. Players can operate Eurofima passenger coaches and are given the flexibility to drive the DB BR 145 on any Quick Drive enabled route.
Scenarios
Included are several scenarios specifically designed for the Hamburg-Hanover and The Rhine Railway: Mannheim - Karlsruhe routes, with training sessions and special event scenarios to challenge your skills.
