Defenders of Ardania (DoA) is an innovative tower defense game that transports players into the vibrant fantasy world of Majesty. This next-generation title introduces a unique twist by allowing players not only to defend their base but also to take on the role of attackers aiming to conquer enemy territory. The game features a compelling blend of single-player content and a robust multiplayer experience for 2 to 4 players, offering numerous options for competitive play against AI or other players through the Internet or LAN.

The Battlemagic expansion enriches the gameplay with four new spells tailored for each playable race, alongside a universal spell available to all. Key features include:

• Extort: This spell replenishes the resource pool by 300 but halts the resource generation for one minute.
• Trap (Nature): Root and stalk enemies within the area, immobilizing them temporarily.
• Arise (Underworld): Transform defeated foes into zombie units that exist for a brief 30 seconds.
• Frozen Shield (Human): Provides a protective barrier, reducing damage taken by friendly units while active.
