Warhammer® 40,000: Dawn of War® II Chaos Rising description

In Warhammer® 40,000: Dawn of War® II - Chaos Rising, the Blood Ravens have triumphed in saving the sector, but now they face an ominous threat from within. Developed by Relic Entertainment, this sequel invites players back to Sub-Sector Aurelia, as a previously lost ice planet has resurfaced from the Warp, bringing deadly foes and dark secrets to uncover.

Command the Blood Ravens as they confront the Chaos Space Marines of the Black Legion in a fierce struggle to purge the filth of Chaos. As treacherous forces work to undermine the chapter from within, players must maintain unity and strength on the battlefield.

The game features 15 new single-player missions that challenge players to utilize their squads' unique abilities and wargear against the encroaching Chaos. Additionally, Chaos Space Marines have been introduced as a new playable race in multiplayer mode, allowing players to swear loyalty to the Chaos Gods. New units join the existing Space Marines, Ork, Eldar, and Tyranid armies, including two new Last Stand heroes: the Chaos Sorcerer and the Tyranid Hive Tyrant, bringing fresh strategy and excitement to the game.
