The OMSI 2 add-on Velbert introduces players to the charming city of Velbert, located in North Rhine-Westphalia, within the picturesque “Niederbergisches Land.” This expansion features two complete bus lines, offering a realistic driving experience through the undulating landscapes of the “Bergisches Land.” You will navigate the varied elevations, transporting passengers on bus line 649, which connects Velbert to Tönisheide, Neviges, and Rosenhügel, ultimately reaching the vibrant city center of Wuppertal.

The add-on includes over 200 meticulously crafted real buildings that enhance visual authenticity and immersion. The main bus line, also known as City bus line 649, has a travel time of 60 minutes, while the faster Express bus line SB66 connects Velbert ZOB and Wuppertal HBF in just 30 minutes, traversing the A535 highway complete with large viaducts and a tunnel.

With 34 kilometers of track and 5 kilometers of highway, this add-on faithfully incorporates real timetable data from WSW and Deutsche Bahn, ensuring an engaging and realistic public transport simulation experience.
