The Class 444 Electric Multiple Unit is a modern and sophisticated addition to the Portsmouth Direct Line in Train Simulator. Built by Siemens AG between 2003 and 2004, these 5-car units were designed to replace the older 'slam-door' stock and now offer a reliable service at speeds up to 100mph on 750 volts DC. This add-on features the Class 444 in the striking white South West livery and includes multiple unit types, such as DMOC, PTOSLW, TOLSB1, TOLSB2, and DMOS.

Players can enjoy a fully immersive cab experience with numerous realistic features, including moving sun blinds, a brake hold button for hill starts, a desk light, a Driver Reminder Appliance (DRA), and a driver's master key. With a total of eight engaging scenarios specifically tailored for the Portsmouth Direct Line, including “Introduction to Class 444” and “Desiro Rescue”, there’s ample opportunity for exploration and gameplay.
