Empire: Total War™ - Elite Units of the East

The Elite Units of the East DLC for Empire: Total War™ introduces an exciting expansion, featuring 12 new elite units for both the Maratha and Ottoman factions. This downloadable content transports players further East than any previous installment, showcasing the most formidable soldiers from the Eastern realms.

These units include a diverse mix of battlefield veterans, ranging from fearsome brigands to academically-trained warriors. Each new unit brings unique tactical advantages that can intimidate and outmaneuver foes. Once purchased, all 12 elite units will be available in the single-player campaign, as well as in both multiplayer and single-player battle modes, contingent on the appropriate faction being selected.

Notable units include the Haydut Irregulars, expert mountain fighters of the Ottoman Empire, and the Rajput Zamindars, heavily armoured cavalry from the Maratha faction. Players will also encounter specialized troops such as the Circassian Armoured Cavalry and Poligars, each capable of wielding unique combat strategies to turn the tide of battle. Unlocking these elite formations will enrich your campaign experience and offer countless new tactical possibilities.
