500 years later, players take on the role of Kyle Brennan, who embarks on a perilous adventure in an experimental spacecraft capable of interstellar travel. A malfunction leaves him stranded in a treacherous region populated by hostile alien factions and mercenaries. With no clear path back home, Kyle's journey transforms into a fight for survival.

As he navigates through various sectors connected by jumpgates, players must engage in trade across over 50 sectors, build vast production stations, and confront fierce pirates and the ominous Xenon. The game offers deep strategic elements, allowing players to adapt their trading operations to the local economy and develop their fleet using numerous upgrades from multiple alien races.

Amidst the chaos, Kyle seeks not only to find his way home but also to uncover secrets about the past and the ancient connections between races, leading to a thrilling exploration of ancestry and survival.
