Maldrin Journey is an engaging 3D Collectathon adventure game developed using the Unity game engine. The game offers two distinct modes of play, catering to solo explorers and competitive players alike.
In the single player story mode, players embark on a quest to explore 16 expansive open levels. Each level is filled with challenges, offering:
- Ten artefacts cleverly hidden, rewarding players for their exploration skills.
- Coins that serve as hints to locate the artefacts.
- A secret artefact unique to each level, adding an extra layer of challenge.
Collecting these artefacts is essential for progressing through the captivating story and aiding the shrine guardians.
The game also features a split-screen two-player racing mode, where players compete to collect more coins and artefacts than their opponent while racing to finish the stage first. Victory is decided across three competitive categories.
To enhance the gaming experience, using a controller is recommended, with at least one required for the two-player mode.
