Space Journey

Space Journey invites you to take the helm in a first-person space simulator. You will traverse six distinct sectors, from the crowded Asteroid Belt to the fiery Supernova, the starry expanse of Orion, the boundless Infinite Space, mysterious Nebula, and the ominous Dark Void. Each location delivers its own mood, visuals, and challenges, wrapped in a cinematic, immersive atmosphere with ambient soundscapes that enhance the voyage.

Your mission is to explore, collect red gas clouds, and convert them into energy to power your voyage. Each glowing gas cloud adds 5% to your fuel reserve, extending your ability to travel, dodge, and explore. The more clouds you gather, the longer you can push through the void, though fuel is your finite resource that must be managed carefully to survive deeper into space.

Movement is straightforward but strategic. You can accelerate to gain speed and cover distance, but acceleration costs 5% of your fuel with every press. Maneuvering to dodge obstacles consumes between 1% and 5% of your fuel, depending on your speed and the intensity of the turn. Plan your route, balance acceleration with precise steering, and manage energy to stay ahead of the dangers that lurk in the dark.

If you run out of fuel, the ship will begin to decelerate slowly, leaving you vulnerable as you drift through space. The greatest hazard comes from drifting asteroids that can strike your hull and damage your armour. If armour is depleted, the current run ends and you must restart the level, losing all collected gas clouds from that attempt.

Space Journey emphasizes atmosphere and immersion with beautiful graphics and an ambient game world. Controller support is available for precise handling, and the game is designed to run on low-end systems, ensuring smooth performance without compromising the core experience.
