Nature Hunter is an immersive first or third-person exploration game set in a richly detailed, semi-open world. Players can roam freely through evolving landscapes where all vegetation is self-regulating and continually changes over time. The game intricately simulates environmental factors such as temperature and humidity, which vary based on the terrain, time of year, and specific time of day, deeply influencing the game's ecosystems.

As players interact with the environment, they’ll discover that objects like wood and other materials possess condition levels, leading to potential degradation and rot. A sophisticated inventory system allows for complex item management, including weight and volume calculations for containers. Players can engage in a step-by-step house-building experience, selecting materials that contribute to the overall condition of structures.
