Cotropitorii Game Description

Cotropitorii is an exciting third-person multiplayer action shooter that immerses players in a unique take on Romanian communism. Engage in intense battles with up to 32 players as they choose from two factions in a thrilling death-match mode. The game boasts over ten diverse weapons, allowing for varied combat strategies. Set against a backdrop of period communist Romanian music, players can step into the shoes of dictator Nicolae Ceausescu, experiencing the atmosphere of late 20th-century Romania.

The game’s narrative unfolds in 1988, during a time of widespread apathy and fear under Ceausescu's rule. In a bid to instill hope while advancing his sinister agenda, Ceausescu began amassing military power. A war erupted in 1989, but it was not neighborly conflict; rather, it was an all-out assault against the United States, fueled by a historic animosity dating back to WWII.

Players join the elite Romanian Mountain Hunters, special forces tasked with infiltrating U.S. territories during a conflict that transforms American cities into war zones. Currently, the game features a single map, but promises thrilling guerilla warfare scenarios as you navigate the ruins, hunting down American forces.
