Bernie’s Nightmare
A psychological horror where a tragedy becomes a waking nightmare. Bernie Janson, a 15-year-old with a haunted past after a car crash that claimed his mother, discovers a terrifying technology called The Nightmare Machine. It supposedly pulls from the player’s deepest fears, turning dread into a living hunt. What begins as a game blurs into a brutal reality as Bernie is drawn into a nightmarish world where he might confront his mother—or something far worse.
Story Premise
Waking in a strange, unfamiliar house, Bernie feels a pounding head and a chill he can’t explain. A note on a table reads: Welcome to The Nightmare Machine. A familiar voice cries out—his mother—but the figure that appears is a burn-scarred, half-human monster. Is it really her, or a cruel illusion? With the front door locked and no key in sight, Bernie must navigate the eerie corridors, solve mysteries, and survive long enough to find a way back to reality.
