CRYEP: A Hardcore Action Adventure

CRYEP is a thrilling two-dimensional action platformer that masterfully combines rogue-like elements with classic Contra mechanics. Set in the year 3318, the game immerses players in a chaotic parallel universe where humanity, alongside alien races, is embroiled in intense warfare. The advancements in cybernetic prostheses have allowed beings to live well over 300 years, leading to a new age of conflict and exploration.

As players embark on a perilous expedition to a newly discovered habitable planet, they must navigate treacherous environments and face formidable alien adversaries. Following the mysterious disappearance of the first expedition crew, the second team, including the son of one of the missing participants, is sent to uncover the truth. However, their ship suffers an emergency landing, complicating their mission to recover spare parts and unravel the fate of their predecessors.
