Golden8bits is a minimalistic game and fantasy console currently in development without a specified release date. Set in a vibrant pixelated world, you take on the role of a magic apprentice. Your adventure involves jumping and battling pixel monsters across various platforms.

This game serves as a prime example of what can be created using its built-in fantasy console. Key features include the ability to:

• Create 8x8 pixel tiles and items such as weapons, shields, potions, coins, keys, and doors.
• Design unique characters including the player, NPCs, and enemies.
• Utilize a canvas editor for frame-by-frame animation of characters.
• Develop and manage levels with an integrated level editor.
• Edit dialogues for NPC interactions and compose chiptune music for your game.

While many features are implemented, some are still missing, such as buttons descriptions in the editor, balance adjustments for shields and weapons, and improved level transitions. Golden8bits operates in windowed mode, with controls mapped to WASD for movement, K for jumping, J for action, L for defense, and I for item usage.
