Clan of Death — Game Description

Clan of Death is a multiplayer traitor experience for groups of friends. You play as the remnants of Clan Daupuz, a Viking clan still worshipping the Old Gods alongside the New, stranded in a cursed fjord. An ice barrier blocks the only exit, and the undead rise to seal your fate. To escape, your crew must work together, uncover ancient weapons, and sail away before death claims you all.

The game supports up to 8 players who share a common goal and hidden dangers. Waves of undead attack the ship, testing your defense and resource management. Lurking among the Vikings is a traitor who can transform into a cultist wielding dark powers to guide the dead and sabotage the quest. The cultist’s rise can turn the tide against you at critical moments.

Core goals

• Repair the ship and keep it seaworthy for departure.
• Collect resources and repair parts scattered across the map to sustain the voyage.
• Defend the ship from regular undead waves and prevent their destruction.
• Uncover and watch for the traitor, who may betray you at any moment.
• Find and recover the legendary axe Deathbringer to open the icy exit and escape the cursed fjord.

Deathbringer is hidden at one of four shrines marked on the map. Clues from notes around the map point toward its location, but the shrine is heavily guarded. The moment you stand before the shrine with the axe, suspicion rises as the traitor may reveal himself as a cultist ready to strike. With Deathbringer secured and the ship repaired, you must return to the vessel and cast off before the undead overwhelm you.

Strategy and playstyle

• Optimal split: 2–3 players defend the ship, 1–2 collect near the ship for quick repairs, and the rest hunt for Deathbringer.
• Undead waves require coordinated effort; two players handle the defense, while more players aid in resource gathering and Deathbringer retrieval.
• Stay vigilant for the traitor’s moves—trust is scarce in this cursed fjord.

Lore hint: Clan Daupuz clings to the Old Gods, while the cult fights to impose their ancient power. The awakening magic and Deathbringer’s power shape every escape attempt, turning an ordinary voyage into a nerve-wracking battle for survival.
