GROSS — Hybrid Tower Defense and FPS

GROSS blends strategic tower defense with adrenaline‑charged first‑person shooting. You defend your base against relentless waves of zombies by planning, building, and then fighting your way to victory.

Construction phase

During the build window you shape the battlefield. Place barricades, turrets, and ground traps to craft mazes and chokepoints that funnel and hinder enemies. Experiment with different combinations to create the most efficient obstacle course. You can sell anything you’ve placed for a full refund until the next combat phase begins, so you’re free to iterate without waste.

Combat phase

When the assault starts, switch to fast‑paced gunplay backed by a diverse arsenal. More than a dozen weapons offer a variety of feels and tactics, each with distinct ammo types. Full metal jacket rounds pierce multiple enemies and objects, hollow points push foes back, and incendiaries set packs of zombies aflame to gain breathing room. Grenade and rocket launchers deal heavy area damage but can also threaten cash pickups you need to collect.

Resources and progression

Defeated enemies drop money that you must secure and transport to buy defenses and active abilities. Money also influences your final score. Balancing risk and reward is key: risking defense during an overwhelming wave might pay off later, but losing cash can limit upgrades in the next construction phase.

Powerful tools and abilities

Beyond firearms, you have access to a range of active abilities designed to defeat, distract, or reposition enemies, as well as enhance mobility and resource management. With more than a dozen options, you can tailor your strategy to your playstyle and the changing battlefield.
