BEAST: False Prophet description
Unleash your inner demon in BEAST, a brutal, turn-based tactical RPG now available in Early Access. This debut title from False Prophet redefines the genre with a gritty narrative and morally ambiguous characters.
Set against a dark, atmospheric backdrop inspired by Carpathian legends, players follow the story of a veteran returning from a decade of Ottoman slavery. Faced with a kingdom ravaged by a demented prophet-king, raiders, and a hellish plague, he is driven by loyalty to his warband and a holy quest to eradicate the suffering.
Experience dynamic, gridless tactical gameplay that emphasizes strategy and visceral combat. Command a unique squad of loyal comrades, each with distinct abilities, and grapple with the choice of working together or consuming them to amplify your powers through the innovative BEAST System.
The Insanity system challenges players to make tough moral decisions on the battlefield while facing hordes of enemies and confronting personal demons. With fast-paced, intense encounters and a rich narrative, BEAST invites you to navigate a world where evil lurks in every corner, pushing you to decide between salvation and damnation.
