Embark on an unforgettable journey into Bahlam, a sunken city of the Old Gods nestled deep beneath the South Atlantic Ocean. After a disastrous shipwreck, maritime archaeologist Nikolay Bernstein wakes up in the depths of the ocean, severely injured and mysteriously linked to a supernatural Buddy-unit. As he navigates the eerie undercity, Nikolay confronts an ominous presence lurking within the dark caverns, leading to a quest for answers and survival.
OUTBUDDIES DX offers a rich non-linear Metroidvania experience, featuring five diverse areas filled with intricate puzzles, environmental hazards, and formidable boss battles. Along the way, Nikolay will encounter the Wozan, a tribe of mining creatures seeking to escape the chains of their oppressive past.
