Train Simulator: CSX AC6000CW Loco Add-On brings one of the world's most powerful single-engine diesel locomotives to life, the General Electric AC6000CW. In the 1990s, a race for horsepower emerged between GE Transportation and Electro-Motive, resulting in the formidable AC6000CW and the SD90MAC, both boasting 6,000hp capabilities. Produced from 1995 to 2001, a total of 314 AC6000CW locomotives were built, designated primarily for CSX and Union Pacific in the US, as well as BHP Billiton in Australia.
This add-on features the AC6000CW in its authentic ‘BC2’ CSX Transportation livery, accompanied by realistic CSX freight wagons. With an impressive 76ft length and a weight of 425 tons, this locomotive showcases unique design elements, including its North American wide-nose cab and distinctive rear 'flared' radiators.
The AC6000CW is Quick Drive compatible, allowing players to explore various routes available via Steam. Additionally, three tailored scenarios for the Miami – West Palm Beach route offer exciting gameplay opportunities.
