It delivers a precise, responsive rhythm experience with a focus on accessibility for newcomers and depth for creators alike. A note: the game makes no use of generative AI in its code or assets.

Jump into over 25 officially charted songs featuring artists from SuganoMusic, TORAV4, Galaxian Recordings, and independent talents from the eurobeat scene. More than 15 additional songs are in development. Play solo, link up in multiplayer, or unleash your creativity with the built‑in chart editor.

The game supports two play styles, so you can choose the rhythm challenge that suits you best. Hit notes to build your score, chase top spots on global leaderboards, and push your timing to the limit across official and community songs.

Create, customize, and share with the powerful professional chart editor. Design your own charts, tweak note graphics, or even overhaul the entire UI. Use video backgrounds in your charts with full FFmpeg integration, and distribute your resources as part of community packs on Steam Workshop.

Import charts from your existing PPD setup with the included manager tool and play a vast library of community content—over 2,000 user-made charts and ongoing additions. Each chart and difficulty level has its own leaderboard, so you can compare progress with players around the world.

Project Heartbeat runs on the Shinobu engine, a purpose‑built audio engine refined over years to deliver the lowest latency and the most responsive rhythm gameplay. Its tickless input system provides sub‑frame accuracy for a truly smooth timing experience.
