eXceed 2nd - Vampire REX description
In a world torn apart by conflict, the human powers have declared a ruthless campaign to purify mankind by eradicating vampires and 'deviants'—those of mixed blood. This led to brutal purges reminiscent of historical witch hunts, spearheaded by the fearsome exorcist corps known as the Gun Bullet Children. As they annihilate every vampire and deviant stronghold, a fierce resistance rises.
At the heart of this struggle is Ria File, a half-human, half-vampire warrior determined to combat the overwhelming human forces. The deviants launch a desperate counter-offensive dubbed the 'Siege on the Holy Land', aiming to defeat the Holy Lady Anhel, the source of the humans' military strength. This gripping narrative unfolds through dynamic cutscenes and intense gameplay.
Featuring a unique dual-polarity gameplay system, players can absorb bullets of matching polarity while charging powerful weapons. With 8 frenetic stages, challenging dynamic difficulty, and a compelling chain bonus scoring system, eXceed 2nd - Vampire REX offers a thrilling experience that any shooter enthusiast will enjoy. Enjoy captivating music and stunning art that elevate this acclaimed shmup to new heights.
