Set in the nostalgic 80s amidst the festive spirit of Christmas, Unusual Findings follows three young friends, Vinny, Nick, and Tony, whose lives take a bizarre turn when they receive a cable signal descrambler. One fateful night, while attempting to unlock a pay-per-view adult channel, they accidentally intercept a distress signal from an alien spaceship that crash-lands in their town's woods. What begins as an innocent adventure quickly spirals into chaos as they discover that a colossal alien is targeting specific members of their community.

Players will navigate a charming pixel art world, reminiscent of 80s classics, filled with references to iconic films such as The Goonies and Aliens. The game combines point-and-click mechanics with unique elements, allowing players to explore various locations—including a Video Buster Store and Laser Llamas Arcade—solving puzzles that impact the friendships and dynamics between the trio.
