Your mission is to survive long enough to uncover a cure—humanity’s fate rests in your hands.

What you’ll do

• Survival with roguelike strategy — steer the crew through scarce resources, deadly encounters, and tough moral choices as you travel the wastelands.
• Customize the train — control how many people ride and how many cars are attached to the engine. A larger train brings more capabilities, but increases the challenge of keeping everyone safe and fed.
• Manage resources — grow food, breed livestock, purify water, secure ammo, and convert junk into useful supplies. Decisions about medicine and care must be made when supplies run low.
• Face threats — defend against bandits and confront desperate people who will stop at nothing to hinder your search for the cure.
• Search for a cure — your ultimate goal is to develop a vaccine. Keeping the train moving reduces virus contact and buys scientists time to work on the medication.
• Explore and scavenge — venture into dangerous regions to gather resources, discover clues, and piece together the path to salvation.
• Tough moral dilemmas — with limited medicine and supplies, you must decide who receives treatment and who must endure hardship or sacrifice for the greater good.
