Play Modes

Choose a fully realized single-player experience or dive into multiplayer for up to four players. In Nysamor, every choice has consequences that ripple across your realm, the people, and the world beyond.

Core Gameplay

Assign tasks to your subjects—collect resources, construct buildings, map out roads, explore wilds, and grow your kingdom’s influence through trade or by the sword. As your settlement rises, you’ll balance growth with maintenance, keep your soldiers fed and equipped, and prepare for the challenges of medieval life.

Choices and Alignment

Your rule can follow a path of Benevolence or Tyranny. A Benevolent ruler shows compassion for the earth and its kin, while a Tyrannical ruler exploits and disciplines. Each path delivers distinct advantages and challenges, permanent changes to lives, and a different ending to your tale.

Magic and Narrative

Will you embrace the Waelgrim’s magical forces or seek to master and control them? The game’s narrative event system plunges you into the land of Nysamor, revealing the Waelgrim’s true nature and guiding your reign toward destiny. Whether you walk a benevolent or ruthless road, your choices shape the world.

World and Diplomacy

Nysamor features lush fields and diverse terrain on a rich, 4X-inspired world map filled with AI villages and kingdoms. Neighboring settlements react to your ambitions and loyalties—whether they stay loyal to Wyrmaxa or drift toward you through intimidation or diplomacy. You can ally, trade, or wage war to secure resources and strategic positions.

Conflict and Strategy

Siege castles, plunder trade routes, or confront Waelgrim creatures in intense RTS combat, fighting alongside or against other players or AI. A successful campaign requires logistics: keep your soldiers fed, watered, and supplied as you press your advantage across the map.

Progression

Advance through a detailed tech tree, plan strategic expansion, and harvest production nodes to build a durable infrastructure. The fate of your kingdom rests on thoughtful planning, careful resource management, and decisive leadership as you determine your legacy.
