The Jaws of the Lion is a digital adaptation of the acclaimed board game and serves as an expansion to the tactical RPG, Gloomhaven. In this expansion, players can recruit four new, unique mercenaries—each with distinct abilities and playstyles—to navigate a dark and gripping storyline set in the city of Gloomhaven.
Players will delve into 25 new scenarios that are intricately tied together, leading them to the city's underbelly. The campaign is fraught with new enemies and formidable bosses, including zealous attackers and chaos-driven demons, challenging players at every turn. The DLC offers a range of gameplay opportunities, allowing for solo or cooperative play with up to four players. Each mercenary—comprising the stalwart Red Guard, the fierce Hatchet, the explosive Demolitionist, and the enigmatic Voidwarden—can be enhanced and equipped with powerful new items and attack modifiers.
