Terraforming Mars - Hellas & Elysium description
Terraforming Mars - Hellas & Elysium invites players to delve into the unexplored regions of the Red Planet, featuring two distinct maps that offer unique strategies and placement bonuses.
The Elysium map showcases valuable territories near volcanic sites like Olympus Mons, providing excellent opportunities for resource acquisition. Players must act swiftly to capitalize on these high-value placements before they are claimed by others.
Meanwhile, the Hellas map takes players to the Hellas Sea and the South Pole, introducing new placement bonuses that enhance strategic gameplay. Notably, players can earn heat from one specific location or trade 6 Megacredits for an ocean tile, making for a valuable but limited opportunity.
In addition to the new maps, the DLC modifies the Awards and Milestones available in the game. Unique scoring opportunities such as the Space Baron award and the Polar Explorer milestone for Hellas, along with the Estate Dealer objective for Elysium, encourage players to rethink their strategies as they expand humanity’s presence on Mars.
Embrace the challenge and harness the potential of these new landscapes in your quest to terraform Mars!
