Step into the role of a ghost hunter and uncover the terror that hides in plain sight. Identify the entity from 23.8 evidence, then reveal its behaviour as vengeful, residual, or lost. Trap the entity and banish it from 69 possibilities across a wide array of haunting scenarios.
Explore 11 maps, each with distinct atmospheres and sizes, and adjust the challenge with 3 difficulty levels plus an optional extra challenge. Play solo or in co-op for up to 4 players to coordinate hunts, gather clues, and survive the night.
- Entities and behaviours have unique abilities.
- Demon may possess a player for a few seconds by luring them or using weapons.

Gear and protection
Rely on professional equipment across 16 investigative tools. Track activity with an EMF radar up to 50 meters, use night vision and a paranormal filter to spot activity and special events, and deploy devices like L.S.S., motion sensors, and Bobby to reveal nearby entities.
You can protect yourself or confront the haunting with gear such as Shield, Incense, Pistol, Shotgun, Burning Flash, and Rune.
Complete the contract
Banishing the entity is only part of the contract. You must investigate the haunting to gather essential ghost data through 3 quests:
- Identity
- Year of death
- Cause of death
- Favourite room
- Bloodstain
- Photographing during your investigation
Discover 75 unique photos; their value depends on rarity and distance. Some images link to specific entities, behaviours, or maps. You can collect up to 12 photos per game and may delete old shots to capture better ones.
A well-stocked photo album can bring big rewards from the reputation merchant, who offers chances to acquire new entities, maps, and equipment upgrades. Maps, equipment, and more unlock gradually as you progress.
A crafting system lets you tailor your banishment strategy: craft the right ammunition, and add additives to slow the entity, reduce its strength, or curb overall activity. The choice is yours.
Progress and playstyle
Track your performance with a detailed statistics system. Speedruns are automatically recorded, letting you compare routes, speeds, and outcomes across maps and difficulties.
Progression unlocks new content, higher contract difficulties, maps, and equipment upgrades as you complete investigations and expand your haunting career.
