Field of Glory: Kingdoms

Field of Glory: Kingdoms is the latest grand strategy from award-winning AGEOD. Set in 1054, just after the Great Schism, the game spans more than two centuries of epic history across Europe, Africa, and the Middle East, delivering a richly detailed political and military canvas.

  • Scope and depth: The game features an immense strategic scope with 450 factions vying for power, 400 distinct unit types, and 600 buildings to construct and upgrade. In addition, 14 religions or heresies and 90 new cultural traits shape how civilizations develop, interact, and compete for influence across generations.
  • Governance and authority: Administer your royal domain using the new Authority system. You manage populace, vassals, and cities, issue edicts to expand your infrastructure, and decide when to wage war or negotiate with rivals, shaping your realm's stability and prosperity.
  • Dynasties and succession: View your lineage unfold as a ruler; plan for succession by siring an heir with your chosen partner. An heir does not guarantee a peaceful transition, adding political risk and intrigue to every dynasty you build.
  • Religion and diplomacy: Religion drives diplomacy and military decisions. Proximity to neighbors of a different faith creates tension and potential conflict; if a religious balance tips too far, diplomacy recedes and war becomes the tool of policy, including Crusades or Jihads driven by holy cities.
  • Regions, population and society: From peasants to powerful nobles, your population forms a social ladder that must be managed. Balancing class interests, loyalty, and tax collection is vital to keep order and fund your campaigns.
  • Warfare: Build and command an army of knights, sergeants, spearmen, crossbowmen and more specialized units. Armies must be supported by logistics and strategic positioning as you defend borders, exert influence, and project power across continents.
  • Field of Glory II integration: For direct combat control, you can export battles to Field of Glory II: Medieval and load the results back into Kingdoms, letting you experience tabletop-style battles and then continue the campaign within this grand strategy world.
  • Multiplayer: Challenge opponents in one of the largest asynchronous multiplayer systems ever created, testing diplomacy, military strategy, and management across hours, days, or weeks of play.

Field of Glory: Kingdoms blends strategic governance, dynastic politics, religious dynamics, and deep warfare into a sweeping historical experience. Its breadth invites lengthy campaigns, complex decisions, and expansive replayability across a richly realized medieval world.
