Dread Dawn

Overview: Dread Dawn is an open‑world zombie survival sandbox set in a city quarantined by an unknown virus. You play as a student who missed the evacuation and must endure among the last survivors as catastrophe unfolds around you. The city is a modern metropolis, full of recognizable landmarks and public facilities, including hospitals, subway stations, prisons, and schools, all scarred by the outbreak.

Story and atmosphere: The game weaves a heavy, story‑driven narrative with numerous cutscenes. As you advance the main storyline, you’ll experience the calm that preceded the outbreak and the chaos that followed. The shifting mood and tense moments are designed to immerse you in a world where every choice matters and the city itself tells part of the tale.

Settlement and survival loop: You must endure by staying in a school with other surviving residents, defending your camp, and navigating the dangers that threaten your shelter. Food, farming, and trade: Food is vital for survival. You can plant crops in spare areas of your camp and raise chickens to obtain eggs, creating a sustainable food source even when scavenging runs dry. Surplus produce can be traded with other survivors, helping you secure scarce supplies and forge tentative alliances in a hostile world.
