Overview

Alienzix is a fast-paced arcade shooter where you pilot a spacecraft through six sections and 26 levels, facing a continuous barrage of enemies. Master a wide array of weapons, power-ups, and tactical maneuvers to survive each stage and push toward the final challenge.

Gameplay

The main goal of every level is to destroy all hostile objects that shoot at you while avoiding their fire. Stay aware of enemy patterns, dodge projectiles, and use Hyper-Gravitation to maneuver out of tight spots. Do not collide with flying enemies, as contact ends run early.

Weapons and Evolutions

Equip and switch between 30 distinct weapons. A weapon evolution system enhances replay value: if you pick the same weapon twice, it evolves into a stronger variant. The evolving arsenal changes how you approach enemies and bosses, encouraging strategic planning of pickups and timing.

Bonuses and Power-Ups

Descending bonuses appear during play, granting weapons, extra lives, shields, and other enhancements. When a bonus X is collected, the first player receives 50 energy units, while the second player does not, but the bonus explosion becomes more powerful than usual. In two-player mode, energy and timing choices are balanced to maintain challenge while fostering teamwork.

Strategy and Tips

Plan weapon pickups to enable evolutions, coordinate with a teammate in co-op to cover angles and share the burden of enemy waves. Use Hyper-Gravitation at pivotal moments to escape tight squeezes, and memorize enemy sequences to anticipate the best moments for aggressive fire.
