Cold Comfort

Cold Comfort is an intense asymmetrical 5v5 Tactical FPS that propels players into a world ravaged by the Gamma Strain pandemic. Players can choose to fight as Survivors or become infected as Gamma Primes, each with unique mechanics and objectives. Survivors aim to thwart the infection's spread by rescuing civilians, while Gamma Primes, initially embodied as infected rats, seek to propagate their deadly virus.

Survivors have access to diverse weapon sets, skills, and customizable gadgets that enhance their strategic options. The game features dynamic environments where barricades can be manipulated, and the strength of both Survivors and Gamma Primes fluctuates throughout the day-night cycle.

As a Gamma Prime, players evolve through stages—from rat to zombie, and ultimately to a powerful Gamma Prime. This evolutionary process is critical as teams vie for survival and dominance. Additional mechanics include a downed state for Survivors, allowing them to crawl and fight back, while Gamma Primes can farm DNA from incapacitated enemies to unlock upgrades.
