The Warden & the Paunch

The Warden & the Paunch is an exciting addition to Total War: WARHAMMER II, featuring two legendary rivals: Eltharion the Grim, the High Elf commander of Yvresse, and Grom the Paunch, leader of the Broken Axe Tribe Greenskins. This Lords Pack introduces unique gameplay mechanics, units, and objectives for each faction, playable in both the Eye of the Vortex and Mortal Empires campaigns, as well as in custom and multiplayer battles.

Eltharion, known as the Warden of Tor Yvresse, is dedicated to fortifying his homeland against Greenskin invasions. He harnesses powerful abilities like the Warden’s Cage and commands a variety of elite units including the War Lions of Chrace and the Arcane Phoenix. His campaign revolves around rebuilding Athel Tamarha to enhance both defenses and magical prowess.

In contrast, Grom the Paunch, a notorious Greenskin warlord, seeks vengeance following previous defeats. His culinary-themed mechanics allow the gathering of ingredients to create unique recipes that grant powerful buffs. Players can explore Grom's diverse units, such as the Snotling Pump Wagons and rogue Idols, enhancing the chaotic fun of his Waaagh!.
