The setting unfolds between Acts 1 and 2 of the original Hello Neighbor game, adding context to the thrilling experience.

As players sneak around the house, they must collaborate to collect keys necessary to unlock the basement door while staying alert to the Neighbor's tricks. The game encourages team dynamics, with players working together, deciding when to split up, and utilizing unique perks and abilities to achieve their goals. Meanwhile, the Neighbor employs cunning tactics to mislead and trap the intruders, using disguises to gain trust and setting traps to halt their progress.
