A Game of Thrones: The Board Game – Digital Edition is an engaging digital adaptation of the acclaimed strategy board game by Fantasy Flight Games. Players assume the roles of the Great Houses of Westeros, competing to seize control of the Iron Throne. Set in a time of political turmoil after King Robert Baratheon's death, the game allows for up to six players to strategize online, or a single player can face off against five AI opponents locally.
Throughout the game, players engage in a rich blend of strategic planning, diplomacy, and military tactics. Over the course of ten rounds, use limited resources to conquer and hold strategic locations on the map. Assemble your forces, including Footmen, Knights, and Siege Engines, while leveraging well-known characters from your house to gain an upper hand in battles. Additionally, players can employ cunning diplomacy by making promises, forming alliances, or betraying rivals.
As you navigate alliances and rivalries, track your influence through the three influence tracks and gather powerful tokens to sway the political landscape. Beware of the wildlings threatening from beyond the Wall, as cooperation among houses is necessary to fortify the Night’s Watch. Will you outmaneuver your opponents and claim the Iron Throne?
