Every day feels like a heavy weight of discouragement and despair. What is the point of living? For whom? The answers lie in the place where it all began—the protagonist’s hometown. He returns there hoping to understand his own mind and to find a way out of the nightmare that haunts him.

As you guide him through night-darkened streets, you explore creepy locations that hide the truth behind his life. Darkness blankets every path, and you decide how to pass it: surrender or fight to the end. Each step peels back another layer of memory, another fragment of a story that may be more troubling than any nightmare.

The journey is built around collection and investigation. You search for notes scattered across abandoned houses, desolate alleys, and rooms that seem to twist with memory. These notes illuminate what is happening inside the main character’s head and help you determine what is real, what is imagined, and what is buried too deep to face.

The atmosphere is key. A grim soundtrack accompanies the creeping dread, mirroring the protagonist’s nightmares and shaping every choice you make. Silence and sound work together to pull you deeper into a psychological maze where perception can betray you as easily as the shadows do.
