Formerly known as Silence of the Siren, Heroes of Science and Fiction is a turn-based strategy game where rival space-faring civilizations clash over a distant star system. Explore what remains on the planets, secure resources, and build mighty cities layered with advanced technology.

In this Early Access experience you’ll command five playable factions, contest three campaigns with four levels each, and roam across more than twenty skirmish maps set in vibrant, varied environments. Each faction brings its own base, seven upgradeable unit types, a distinctive special skill, and a roster of commanders to lead into battle.

The game features a deep pool of strategic options: 24 distinct skills, 54 active commander abilities, plus a assortment of equipment, consumables, and artifacts. Recruit skilled commanders, teach them new abilities, and guide them through the ranks as you expand your influence across the system.

The setting centers on the Siren star system — birthplace of a galactic alliance and the homeworld of a vanished Primals civilization. Split from the rest of the galaxy, alliances fracture and colonies become isolated. Ruins dot the planets, and the deeper you venture, the stronger the sense of danger grows. An enigmatic presence lurks below, a shade or echo that hints at secrets long forgotten.

Gameplay emphasizes resourceful exploration and tactical foresight. Gather powerful resources to upgrade bases, unlock advanced technology, and hire massive armies. Play as multiple species and factions, guiding commanders who gain new skills and unleash unique abilities on the battlefield.
