In a futuristic setting where mankind explores the stars, the search for the critical energy source 'Neonium' leads to conflicts on the distant planet Praymos. With rich deposits of Neonium discovered, mankind faces a technologically advanced civilization reminiscent of Earth’s mid-20th century. The stakes are high as players engage in battles for resource control and territorial dominance.

Robowars offers an engaging blend of strategy and tactics, making it easy to learn yet difficult to master. Each level presents unique challenges, requiring players to select and deploy cards wisely, build defenses, and manage Neonium resources. Constructing Neonium production plants boosts the availability of special ability cards that enhance gameplay. Players can use destroyed enemy units' drops to acquire traps and attack cards.

With over 50 types of units, towers, and powerful bosses, the game encompasses a story-driven campaign featuring 55 missions. Players can complete bonus goals at each level to enhance ratings and unlock new abilities, all wrapped in an old-school 80s sci-fi design aesthetic.
