Fragment of Humanity

Fragment of Humanity is an immersive first-person VR game that casts players as Subject 26, an experimental humanoid creature navigating a hazardous laboratory. The storyline begins as a scientist initiates a test, only to be abruptly interrupted by a warning signal. Awakening five hours later, players must devise a method to escape from a facility overrun by dangerous creatures.

Gameplay is designed with player choice in mind; you can select to be either right or left-handed, affecting your life indicator on your chosen main arm. Combat is essential for survival, and players can confront threats using various weapons, including pistols for ranged attacks or hand-to-hand options. However, caution is advised to prevent running out of ammunition. Should you sustain injuries during encounters, healing syringes can be found throughout the lab.

Note that the game refrains from incorporating teleportation mechanics for movement, enhancing the sense of immersion and realism as players explore their surroundings.
