What They Don't Sea description
What They Don't Sea is an engaging 2D pixel platformer that immerses players in the mysterious depths of the ocean. As a marine researcher for the Rachel Carson Research Organization (RCRO), you embark on an adventurous mission to collect samples of a newly discovered algae species for alternative energy projects. Navigate through stunning visual environments that blend beauty and eeriness, while keeping a close eye on your air supply.
The game features a delightful array of charming ocean creatures that add a touch of humor to your undersea experience. Developed by Team Atlantis, a group of talented middle school girls at the Girls Make Games summer camp in Durham, NC, What They Don't Sea has garnered recognition, winning the Grand Prize at GMG’s Demo Day competition in 2019. The team went on to successfully raise over $40K on Kickstarter, showcasing their passion and dedication.
Girls Make Games aims to inspire future generations of designers and creators, offering workshops and summer camps that empower girls aged 8-18 to learn game design and coding. Join the adventure and discover what lies beneath the surface in this captivating underwater journey!
