Syrian Warfare: Return to Palmyra brings players into a gripping single-player campaign set between December 2016 and March 2017, focusing on the strategic and intense battles surrounding the historic city of Palmyra. During this period, the city faced a serious threat as terrorists captured it, jeopardizing government-controlled territories and major urban centers. The courageous defense mounted by the Syrian army, bolstered by Russian air support, ultimately turned the tide of battle.

Players will take command of the elite Tiger Forces unit, navigating through challenging scenarios as they defend strategic positions on the outskirts of Palmyra. You will lead your squad through fierce encounters, including a critical defense at the T4 air base. The campaign introduces new squad types like Lebanese volunteers and the National Defence Forces, enhancing tactical options.

The game expands its arsenal with innovative weaponry, including mounted grenade launchers and advanced heavy machine guns. Additionally, players will command new tank models such as modified T-55 and T-62 tanks, and utilize air support from the Russian Ka-52 helicopter. Encounter formidable enemy forces equipped with American Humvees and TOW missiles, creating an authentic and challenging warfare experience.
