Streets of Rogue

Streets of Rogue is an innovative rogue-lite that emphasizes player choice, freedom, and chaotic enjoyment. Drawing inspiration from iconic top-down rogue-lites like Binding of Isaac and Nuclear Throne, the game introduces a unique twist by incorporating free-form, experimentation-driven elements typical of RPGs like Deus Ex. Set in a vibrant, procedurally generated city, players encounter a rich environment where complex AI powers a diverse array of NPCs, each engaged in their daily lives.

To advance in the game, players must complete mission objectives through various means, utilizing special character traits, items, and the interactive surroundings. Choose from over 20 distinct characters, such as a trigger-happy soldier, a stealthy doctor armed with chloroform, or a charming bartender skilled in persuasion. You might even take on the role of a hyper-intelligent gorilla, rallying fellow caged gorillas to form a mobilized army.

With random world generation and an immense array of items—including shrink rays, bear traps, and hacking devices—no two playthroughs are ever the same. Additionally, the game offers 4-player local and online cooperative modes, ensuring that whether you're battling foes or simply enjoying the chaos, you'll never have to face the streets alone.
