The journey unfolds from the safe refuge of a farm as you push outward through four regions increasingly corrupted by the infection.

On the road you will rescue survivors and decide how to use them: recruit them as traveling companions who join your march, or assign them to the farm to unlock new abilities and strengthen your position. The way you manage your farm—and where you place each survivor to work—directly affects the Doctor’s evolving toolkit and the resources available for your expedition.
