The Western Hydraulics Pack for Train Simulator brings to life the iconic BR Class 35, BR Class 42, and BR Class 52 locomotives, allowing players to experience the unique hydraulic operations from the transitional diesel era of British Railways. This add-on requires the Riviera Line in the Fifties: Exeter - Kingswear Route, which is sold separately, providing authentic run-throughs on one of the most beloved routes of the time.

Between 1961 and 1964, the Western Region saw the production of 101 ‘D7000’ series locomotives, later reclassified and known as the 'Hymek.' With their powerful Bristol-Siddely/Maybach MD870 engines, these trains effectively handled both passenger and freight tasks. The pack also features the 'Warship' Class 42 and the 'Western' Class 52 locomotives, known for their strong service on top-link express routes.

Additionally, the pack includes various liveries and nameplates, offering players a chance to operate these locomotives as they would have appeared during their operational service. Three career scenarios are included, alongside compatibility for Quick Drive. Note that a download size of 364.8 MB is required for this add-on.
